Sojourner Truth Academy (STA) is currently seeking a committed, passionate, educator who holds a belief in the ability of our scholars, to join our team of licensed teachers and highly qualified paraprofessionals for the 2023-2024 school year. We are seeking a licensed School Social Worker.
POSITION SUMMARY
As a member of STA’s multidisciplinary team the School Social Worker provides a full range of services, including but not limited to social skills groups, emotional regulation checks, etc. to students that need additional support as indicated on their Individual Education Plan. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, the school social worker will partner with school administrators and teachers to develop and implement plans that provide specialized support for students.
